PAM EYRE and JULIE DUNCAN

Hello from we two crafters who make up the face of Cloth to Creation on The Chocolate Crow Trader. Julie and I live within half an hour of each other and try to get together for craft days as often as home, work and life lets us, and we have a ball doing it! We are:

PAM…
Apart from small local shops and craft markets, TCCT has been my first foray into the "big wide world" to sell my creations. I started out making cloth dolls with needle sculpted faces, and other country & shabby chic type crafts, but through this amazing journey with TCCT, which I have been travelling since late 2007, my tastes and style have changed somewhat! I have even started designing my own creations. I’ve also “discovered” mixed media, collage and altered art, and having such a fun time with them! Along the way I have made some very lovely and special friends amongst the other traders on the Crow. I have to say that both broadband and The Chocolate Crow Trader have certainly opened up a whole new world to me! This eventually led to the birth of my web site Cloth to Creation, to which I invited family and friends to contribute to (Julie being one of those), in an effort to help them on their craft journey, as well as help to fill the site with a wonderfully eclectic mix of beautiful creations.

I had to close Cloth to Creation in 2009, but have since opened a selling blog which is known as The Studio Downstairs. This is now filled with all my own creations and designs.

JULIE…
I live in upper Caboolture in sunny Queensland. I have always loved working with my hands, and have been sewing and collecting old wares since I was a child. Over the years I have built up a large collection of vintage laces and fabrics. I have had a variety of craft interests over the years including floristry, handcrafted baby shoes and basketmaking. My husband gave me a teddy with a dress made from old lace a few years ago for my wedding anniversary present, which gave me the inspiration for the dresses that I am now making. I now focus my attentions on vintage teddy dresses, mosaics and other shabby chic themed crafts, which I really enjoy making. I hope you love my vintage dresses and other items as much as I do.

I finally took the plunge and opened my own blog this year, from which I also sell my creations. It’s called Beary Vintage.

Well, that’s us in a nutshell. We hope you enjoy our work as much as we enjoy making it.

Pam and Joolz.
