The Chocolate Crow Trader is Australia's first online magazine and crafts marketplace designed to showcase Australian designers and artisans.
The magazine was the creation of a wonderful lady named Beverly Miller who handed the reigns over to me, Chris Byron in June of 2008. The success of the magazine is a credit to Bev. Her hard work, passion and relentless dedication is rewarded with the fact that, when handed over, the magazine had received a massive 251,519 hits.
The magazine is now in its fifth year (my second year of running it) and I hope to do Beverly justice and will do my utmost to carry on her dream, in a manner of which she would be proud!.
The designers and artisan's on the website exhibit their patterns, kits and ready made items, all of which are available for purchase. Whether you are after unique patterns or kits, primitives, shabby chic, country, cloth dolls, stitchery, quilts, teddy bears, folkart or naive painting, you are sure to find it here.
TCCT is a monthly publication, updated on the 15th of each month. Each issue features a different season or theme and comes with a free pattern. If you love the time worn looks of times gone past then you have definitely come to the right place.
Some of the artisan's and designers on The Chocolate Crow Trader are regulars in the chat room Wednesday and Sunday nights from 8.00pm (EDST) Australian. Everyone is welcome to drop in and learn more about the website and have a chat about crafting.
